First Month in Kenya

Hello, my name is Federico, i am 29 years old, i came from Italy but in this moment of this life i don't want to stay there, for that reason i spent the last year in Bolivia, i came back in july and in september my new adventure in Kenya began and here we are. 

I am in the Ahero Research Centre, a place where there are different projects going on at the same time. I am here as a Environmental Expert (wow, it sound cool), so i am doing mostly sustainable agricolture and food safety activities (farming, cassava trasformation, bakery, vertical farming, peanutbutter production...) and i will start also to go around in other communities centres to see how i can help. Finally, i will start also to prepare some workshops about environmental awarness and food safety. 

So, after the boring part, here the fun suff! I saw giraffes, monkeys, i went to see the sunrise in a rainforest and the sunset on lake Victoria, i listen to the best music on the matatus of Nairobi, i ate a loooot of chapati, ugali, fish and meat. 

this is only the beginning, other personal project are also going on really well, mostly the boxing classes (i love martial arts and fighting sport and i strongly believe in the power of the community that it create, so i am really happy to see that also here) and sewing classes (who knows, maybe i will be able to sew a shirt by myself).
